Hi everyone! We just wanted to keep you updated on what our chapter of the Public Relations Students Society of America have been up to!

In the beginning of the month, PRSSA students volunteered to help out with the First Friday Art walk for breast cancer awareness.   Everything went really well and it was a pleasure to work with Emily, the Communications Coordinator at Flagler Hospital.  The event was a success and we were glad to take part in it and help out!

Tropical Smoothie has been kind enough to donate 20% of their profits to our chapter on Saturday, November 6th from 2-5 pm.  This will be helpful in holding the STAND event coming up in less than a month which will benefit Flagler Hospital Cancer Research Center! 

STAND will be held on Wednesday, November 17.  We are finishing up the planning process and everything is coming together very well.  We will keep you updated with the full details as we continue to prepare for the event! All of the proceeds for this event will benefit the Flagler Hospital Cancer Research Center. 

Wednesday through Friday of this week PRSSA members will be selling STAND bracelets outside of Kenan! The proceeds will also go to Flagler Hospital Research Center.  Bracelets only cost $1 and are for a great cause! We will also have sign up sheets for STAND teams at the table!
